Hold my beer, I’m going to try something

I’ve never been that big fan of monster trucks.  I do admit if I see one I’m in awe of the sheer size of some but other then that they don’t do much for me.  That being said I was emailed a pretty cool monster truck trick.  I will say one thing, they have some big balls to try this.  Check it out.

Adobe basically says FU Apple

While I understand the security and resource concerns with not including flash it’s still irritating that Apple hasn’t and won’t find a way to include it on either the Ipad or Iphone/Ipod Touch. Reading the Gizmodo comments about HTML 5 I can only hope the popular sites will switch to it like Hulu, Jibjab, and Break.com.

I really like Adobe’s stance on flash being denied on Apple products:

It looks like Apple is continuing to impose restrictions on their devices that limit both content publishers and consumers. Unlike many other ebook readers using the ePub file format, consumers will not be able to access ePub content with Apple’s DRM technology on devices made by other manufacturers. And without Flash support, iPad users will not be able to access the full range of web content, including over 70% of games and 75% of video on the web.

If I want to use the iPad to connect to Disney, Hulu, Miniclip, Farmville, ESPN, Kongregate, or JibJab — not to mention the millions of other sites on the web — I’ll be out of luck.

Adobe and more than 50 of our partners in the Open Screen Project are working to enable developers and content publishers to deliver to any device, so that consumers have open access to their favorite interactive media, content, and applications across platform, regardless of the device that people choose to use.

Pants on the ground remix

What most likely will haunt us when we can’t get the song out of our heads, you get the remix to plague you even further!

Great remix from American Idol auditions of 60 something year old guy singing his own song. I guess they let someone like that appear in front of the judges just for the comic relief?
